My consultancy service offers flexible, on-demand architectural advice without committing to a full design package. With over 25 years’ experience designing and delivering family homes, I provide practical, realistic guidance grounded in strong technical and construction knowledge.
Consultations can take place at your home, on site, or at a property viewing.

Advice can cover design strategy, space planning, planning potential, construction approach, budget implications and phasing. This service can stand alone or complement any of my other services.
Built on Experience
Having remodelled and moved several times myself, I understand how homes and construction projects really work. I’m used to balancing design ambition with budgets, everyday family life and projects that often need to be phased over time.
My approach is design-led, working from the inside out and outside in.
With a background in furniture and bespoke interior design, I consider flow, proportion and atmosphere alongside structure and form, helping create homes that feel as good to live in as they look.
Alongside design and construction expertise, I bring strong experience in planning strategy and local planning policy, advising on how to shape and deliver projects.
What's Included
An initial consultancy appointment typically includes preparation in advance, a 1 to 2 hour site visit or meeting, tailored architectural advice, discussion of options and constraints, and clear guidance on next steps.
Where helpful, this may also include a short written summary of recommendations and a fee proposal for further services.
Initial consultancy appointments are charged at a fixed fee of £350, which includes preparation time. Further time is charged on an hourly basis if you wish to continue discussions or explore options in more detail.
This flexible approach allows you to access senior architectural input at any stage of your project.
