Our Process

Our projects are structured around the 7 RIBA Work Stages, a nationally recognised framework used throughout the construction industry to guide projects from first ideas through to completion.

Getting Started

 

Understanding your home/ potential project, your ambitions and what may be possible. Early advice, feasibility, constraints and defining the right approach.

Shaping the design

Developing layout options and an overall architectural direction. Exploring ideas, testing layouts and refining the brief.

Technical Design

Detailed design & Building Regulations

Detailed drawings and coordination for Building Regulations and construction. Structure, services, fabric and specifications developed.

Construction

On site

Construction begins. Site visits, Architect's Instruction, inspections and design coordination. Mint can also act as your Client Representative throughout this stage.

Handover

Inspections, snagging and handover of your finished home. Architect's management of the building contract.
